Hospital Pictures

These pictures were from July 21st when Russell was born. One of the pictures showed Russell getting weighed, which was 7.02 lbs. Another one was in the operating room after my c-section, it was the first time we ever met our son! And the other one is my goofy husband Dusty.

Starting from the top and going down, this first picture is my sister, Nicole, and my oldest brother's daughter, Allyssah The second picture is Alyssah and my dad, Brett. The third picture is my Grandpa Jack and my Grandma Joan. The fourth picture is Alyssah again. Fifth picture is me . The sixth is my sister, her husband Chris, and Alyssah. The seventh is me again. Eighth is my cousins Brittney and Chantel and one of Brittney's twin daughters. Sorry I cant tell the difference between the twins so I am not going to say a name. The ninth is me, my sister-law Mandy, my grandma Joan and Brittney's son Heston. The tenth picture is my aunt Sophie and me. The eleventh is my brother Josh his wife Mandy and his daughter Alyssah.

Today has been boring, but I am excited for my mom to come to see us tomorrow! I took the picture on the right because I was telling my mom how Russell has Dusty's legs. They are so cute. I tried getting him to sleep in his room the other night and ever since he has been sleeping in there all night! He is such a good little baby.

Great Idea!

I decided today that I am going to take a picture of Russell every day and post it to the blog so that everyone can see him grow. It is mostly for his grandma Jackie and grandma Monica because those two are crazy in love with the little guy and they both live four hours away so they cant see him every day.
The picture above was taken in his crib. Dusty attached toys to the fan blades in Russell's room for him to watch. He loves it! I also startled him with the flash of the camera. That explains the crazy face. That also reminds me of what my friend said earlier today about Russell. She said he looks like me but when he pulls the crazy faces he looks just like Dusty! Anyone who knows Dusty knows that he cant just smile in a picture, he has to pull some kind of weird face. Like father like son!
Tonight I am going to try to get Russell to sleep in his crib in his own room. We will see tomorrow how that goes!

Family Pictures

This weekend Monica, Kim, and Kortney came to see the baby. We had a pretty fun time getting pictures taken, shopping, and going out to dinner. I drove to Salt Lake City last weekend to see my family. I had a lot of fun spending time with my mom and Russell. We had tons of fun shopping and hanging out like we used to, and it was more fun this time because she had her new grandson to play with.

Russell Updates

We took Russell to the doctor yesterday. He is growing! He weighed 6lbs 15 ounces, 19 inches tall and his head was 13 3/4 round! He is almost up to his birth weight! These pictures were taken by my sister in law Tiffany when the family came to visit last weekend. She is such a good photographer, these pics were actually taken in my parents hotel room! We are so thankful everyone came to see our son. Everyone traveled so far just to see the baby we are so blessed to have such a loving family. Russell is starting to get on a normal schedule now. He wakes up about every 2 hours to eat, sometimes more. He must be going thru a growth spurt. I cant wait until we can play with him and he will respond. I know Dusty will have more fun with him then.
